Terms & Conditions

Confidentiality: All information shared during therapy sessions is strictly confidential. However, there are legal and ethical exceptions to confidentiality, such as instances of harm to self or others, as outlined in the confidentiality agreement provided during intake.

Appointment Policy: Clients are encouraged to schedule appointments in advance. We understand that unforeseen circumstances may arise, but we kindly request at least 24 hours notice for cancellations or rescheduling. Missed appointments or late cancellations may incur a fee.

Payment and Insurance: Payment is due at the time of service unless prior arrangements have been made. We accept cash, credit/debit cards, and certain insurance plans. It is the client's responsibility to understand their insurance coverage and any co-pays or deductibles that apply.

Professional Boundaries: Our therapists adhere to strict professional boundaries to ensure a safe and therapeutic environment for all clients. Any behavior that compromises these boundaries, including harassment or inappropriate communication, will not be tolerated.

Client Responsibility: Clients are responsible for their own progress in therapy. This includes actively participating in sessions, completing assigned homework or exercises, and communicating openly and honestly with the therapist about their goals and concerns.

Emergency Protocol: In the event of a mental health emergency, clients should contact emergency services or go to the nearest emergency room. Our therapists are not available 24/7, but we will provide appropriate resources and support during regular office hours.

Minors and Guardians: For clients under the age of 18, legal guardians must provide consent for therapy services. Guardians are encouraged to be involved in the therapeutic process and may request updates on their child's progress.

Scope of Practice: Life coaching is not a substitute for professional therapy, counseling, or medical treatment. While our coaches are trained to provide guidance and support, they are not licensed therapists or healthcare providers. Clients with significant mental health concerns or medical issues may be referred to appropriate professionals.

Termination of Services: Either the client or the therapist may choose to terminate therapy at any time for any reason. In such cases, the therapist will provide appropriate referrals and support to ensure a smooth transition.

Feedback and Concerns: We welcome feedback from our clients and encourage open communication about any concerns or dissatisfaction with the therapy process. Clients are encouraged to address any issues directly with their therapist or contact the office manager for assistance.

Agreement to Terms: By scheduling an appointment with our therapy office, clients acknowledge that they have read and agree to abide by these terms and conditions.
